According to the Middle Atlantic River Forecast Center, little precipitation fell in the basin over the past 24 hours, and little is expected for the next three days.

The US Army Corps of Engineers made a whitewater recreational release from Savage Reservoir yesterday (Saturday, Sep 28). The release of approximately 1000 cfs occurred from 10 AM to 4 PM. The release is now passing Cumberland, Maryland, and the hydrograph at the USGS's flow monitoring station at Cumberland can be viewed at https://waterdata.usgs.gov/md/nwis/uv/?site_no=01603000&PARAmeter_cd=00…. We expect to see elevated flows from this release at Point of Rocks and Little Falls later this week.
