Daily Potomac flow and demand update (Friday 2017-10-20)

Flow at Point of Rocks is currently at about 2000 cfs, CO-OP's trigger for daily drought monitoring. No rain fell in the basin over the past 24 hours, and no rain is expected over the next 72 hours, according to the Middle Atlantic River Forecast Center's quantitative precipitation forecasts. The National Weather Service (NWS) 5-day forecast predicts accumulations of up to 1.25 inches of rain in the Potomac basin.
