The Potomac basin received 0 to 1/4 of an inch of rain over the past 24 hours. The National Weather Service's 3-day forecast calls for total accumulations of 1/10 to 3/4 inch in the basin, with most areas expecting to receive 1/4 to 1/2 inch of rain..

Flow at Point of Rocks remains below the low-flow threshold of 2,000 cfs. Flow at Point or Rocks continues to rise, but is still below median levels for this time of the year.

Daily Flows:
Little Falls gage flow 10/11: 1380 MGD (2130 cfs)
Little Falls gage flow 10/12: 1430 MGD (est., based on recently available real time data) (2210 cfs)
Note: Gage flow at Little Falls is measured after water supply withdrawals.
Point of Rocks flow 10/11: 1100 MGD (1700 cfs)
Point of Rocks flow 10/12: 1220 MGD (est., based on recently available real time data) (1890 cfs)

FW Corbalis raw water withdrawal (Potomac): 71 MGD
WSSC Potomac Production: 110 MGD
Aqueduct withdrawal: 122 MGD
Total Potomac demand: 303 MGD
