Submitted by admin1 on Wed, 10/15/2014 - 09:00

During the past 24 hours the western half of the basin received 1 to 2 inches of rain. More rain is on the way, with forecasted accumulations of 1 to 2 inches across the basin over the next two days. Given the forecast and recent rainfall, we expect that mean daily flow at Point of Rocks will soon rise above the trigger for daily drought monitoring of 2000 cfs.

Little Falls gage flow 10/14: 1500 MGD (2320 cfs)
Little Falls gage flow 10/15: 1520 MGD (est., based on recently available real time data) (2350 cfs)
Note: Gage flow at Little Falls is measured after water supply withdrawals.
Point of Rocks flow 10/14: 1220 MGD (1880 cfs)
Point of Rocks flow 10/15: 1290 MGD (est., based on recently available real time data) (2000 cfs)
