Drought exercise simulation day: August 23, 2022.

Water supply releases from the North Branch reservoirs are continuing. Today's target flow at the Luke USGS gage remains at 375 cfs. The Little Seneca release remains at 30 MGD.

ACTUAL WSSC P.M. estimated demand: 170 MGD
ACTUAL FW P.M. estimated demand: 165 MGD
ACTUAL Aqueduct P.M. estimated demand: 155 MGD
SIMULATED LW total estimated demand: 36 MGD
SIMULATED LW WTP estimated demand: 20 MGD

Tomorrow's estimated demand (08/24/22):
ACTUAL WSSC estimated demand: 165 MGD
ACTUAL FW estimated demand: 170 MGD
ACTUAL Aqueduct estimated demand: 145 MGD

SIMULATED - Recommended operations for today (08/23/22):

Fairfax Water:
Maintain the 110 MGD withdrawal from Occoquan.

WSSC:
Maintain Patuxent withdrawal at 60 MGD.

Seneca (release date, time, amount in MGD):
The 30 MGD release from Little Seneca Reservoir continues.

Aqueduct:
Keep withdrawing all water from Little Falls in order to maintain the Great Falls flow-by.

Loudoun Water:
Maintain water treatment plant production at 20 MGD and quarry withdrawal at 20 MGD.

North Branch Reservoirs:
Today's Luke target is 375 cfs.
