Drought exercise simulation day: August 21, 2022.

Water supply releases from the North Branch reservoirs are continuing. Today's target flow at the Luke USGS gage remains at 325 cfs.

SIMULATED Daily Flows:
Little Falls gage flow 08/20: 170 MGD (270 cfs)
Little Falls gage flow 08/21: 140 MGD (est., based on most recently available real time data) (218 cfs)
Note: Gage flow at Little Falls is measured after water supply withdrawals.
Point of Rocks flow 08/20: 570 MGD (880 cfs)
Point of Rocks flow 08/21: 540 MGD (est., based on recently available real time data) (830 cfs)

Maintain Patuxent withdrawal at 30 MGD (flexible). Keep the Potomac withdrawal as steady as possible.

Seneca (release date, time, amount in MGD):
No release from Little Seneca Reservoir is scheduled today.

Aqueduct:
Maintain Little Falls withdrawal at 125 MGD. Make any necessary changes to the Great Falls gate settings in small increments.

Loudoun Water:
Withdraw 15 MGD from the Potomac. Preserve quarry storage.

North Branch Reservoirs:
Today's Luke target is 325 cfs.
