River flow continues to slowly decline. There was no appreciable precipitation in the Potomac basin over the past 24 hours. An average basin-wide accumulation of less than 1/10 of an inch is expected over the next three days.

Little Falls gage flow 2021-08-04: 1403 MGD (2170 cfs)
Little Falls gage flow 2021-08-05: 1403 MGD (est., based on recently available real time data) (2170 cfs)
Note: Gage flow at Little Falls is measured after water supply withdrawals.
Point of Rocks flow 2021-08-04: 1054 MGD (1631 cfs)
Point of Rocks flow 2021-08-05: 1034 MGD (est., based on recently available real time data) (1600 cfs)

Fairfax Water Corbalis withdrawal (Potomac): 121 MGD
WSSC Water Potomac withdrawal: 120 MGD
Washington Aqueduct withdrawal: 143 MGD
Loudoun Water withdrawal: 11 MGD
Loudoun Water Broad Run discharge: 6 MGD
Total Potomac withdrawal: 395 MGD
Total net Potomac withdrawal: 389 MGD
