Situational Awareness (Saturday, 2023-11-04)
No rain fell on the basin in the past 24 hours. No rain is expected in the next 72 hours.  Bathymetric surveys were performed at Dam No. 5 in Washington County, MD on Friday November 3.  Some fluctuations in river flows can be observed at the Points of Rock gage.

Note: Potomac River flow at Point of Rocks has dropped below the low-flow threshold of 2,000 cfs. When this occurs, per the Water Supply Coordination Agreement of 1982, CO-OP begins daily monitoring and reporting of Potomac flows and withdrawals on behalf of the CO-OP suppliers, Fairfax Water, Washington Aqueduct, and WSSC Water.
