Dry conditions persist. According to the Middle Atlantic River Forecast Center predictions, average rainfall in the portion of the Potomac basin above Little Falls will total 0.3 inches over the next 24 hours and 0.5 inches over the next 3 days. The week-long outlook expects a total of approximately 0.7 inches.

Special conditions:

The river flow fluctuations caused by the National Park Service bathymetric survey project at Dams 4 and 5 are now visible at the USGS’s gage at Little Falls.
